I was tired of basketballs sitting all over my yard and have tried the net baskets but they don't hold up in the sun. These basketball holders are super easy to mount and couldn't be any easier to use. Mounted directly to my corner trim on the house and keeps the balls from cluttering the yard, just don't dunk on it.

I ordered these to get my homemade slam balls (made from 8.5” rubber dodgeballs) off of the ground in my garage. The diameter of the rings work great but I don’t like the bracket orientation. It is parallel to the ring but would work much better if it were perpendicular as that would distribute the weight better against the wall. It would also allow both screws to hit the same stud, compared to the current design that either requires drywall anchors or the use of a 2x4 stringer board. In addition, the description says they can hold 30 pounds, but I seriously question that with the bracket orientation and steel diameter. My heaviest slam ball is 20 pounds and I am fully anticipating the steel to slowly bend over time. However, with all of that said, they did arrive exactly as described with the hardware included. For typical sports balls, I am sure these would be perfect.

***Update*** After a month, the drywall screws started to pull out. Not horrible, but it isn’t horizontal anymore. Too much weight of the basketball. I ended also finding different ball holders with 3 screws that seem to hold up better so far. Otherwise is using these, I’d recommend upgrading the drywall anchors unless you can get direct into a stud.Original review:I mounted 2 of these in my garage for basketballs. I was a little concerned the included drywall anchors wouldn’t be robust enough to hold the weight of the ball, but so far it seems pretty stable. I made sure to instruct my kids not to pull on the mount. They look nice enough that they could also work for displaying a collectable basketball too.If purchasing, and you could use more than 2, then I’d recommend the 4 pack as that is better value than this 2 pack that I procured as a vine review.

Served the purpose to quickly get my BB off the ground and on the wall. Simple, easy to screw into the wall or beam. simple and good value for the price. Will buy more if I need more balls on the wall.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these because they look pretty basic and thin. But the metal is very strong and plenty capable of holding our basketballs, soccer balls, etc. Make sure you secure it into wood, of course. It does come with the drywall anchors, but I didn't use them. I went directly into wood.

Simple ball holder - just what we needed. Comes with mounting screws and the loops. They seems to be made well, but they are not extremely rigid. I would say they'll last a few years with normal use. Definitely take up very little room when not in use and they hold the ball securely.

I had high hopes for these ball holders, but I'm pretty disappointed and less forgiving than some of the other reviewers. I feel like they saved every fraction of a penny they could. Yes, they are 6" rings, but IMO, they should have been bigger for the pictured basketball. Another inch or even two would have allowed them to settle in a little deeper and be less likely to get knocked out. The mounting anchors are crap. I don't know why everybody uses these worthless plastic tubes, but you'll need to use your own anchors to have a hope of these holding up to kids taking balls in and out. I'm not an engineer, but the mounting bracket should be VERTICAL, not horizontal. For one, you have a chance of hitting a stud with both screws, even though they provide wood screws, no chance of needed two of them. And the leverage of the weight of the ball and the putting them on and off (because kids are always careful with that) is going to put a lot more than just the weight of the ball on the bracket. Perpendicular to the torque is ALWAYS a better idea, but that would have added to shipping cost I suspect. AND, with this horizontal bracket, it makes screwing the screws in difficult and forces you to apply your own torque to the ring to get the screw driver in, which will have to be crooked. So, the cordless drill can only go part way and you have to finish with a screw driver. It's just silly. The finish is a flat black powder coat so should stay on inside, but I doubt it would hold up to weather. They are holding my balls ok, but I honestly don't expect them to hold up for very long. They could have been so much better with just a little thought and minimal expense.
