This plate fits perfectly on a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 and allowed me to mount a CVLIFE Picatinny red dot.

Works perfect. I bought it for the look of a shorter rail. Not a big difference. It doses fit perfectly.

I have a newer Ruger Mark IV long bull barrel 22/45. I popped this on to add a light and green laser for dispatching nuisance varmints at night. You need to remove the stock allen screws (3). Some may be very tight, so don't strip them. Save them in a baggie. You line up the three offset holes and put the three provided screws in. I used blue LocTite. Nice and snug, and now I can go plinking at night when critters come a'knocking.

Purchased for a Ruger MK3. Fits very good and looks great. Only minor grip is that I would have preferred allan or torques screws instead of the slotted ones.

I have a used Ruger Mk3 Target that I got with a non-standard rear sight. The official picatinny and weaver rails both interfered with the rear sight. This rail has less material behind the final screw hole, and I was able to mount it without replacing the rear sight.

It was well made. However, it is not for red dot sights like C-More Railway. The rail is not long enough.

I run a MkIII 22/45 Lite with a Vortex Venom red dot. However I noticed my Venom with the stock rail would not sit flush it was always very slightly canted to the right. Come to find out Ruger's stock rail cut outs are shallow and third rail was causing the issue.Additionally Ruger's rail is ugly and long and really takes away from the aesthetics of an otherwise beautiful firearm.Enter this rail.1) it's shorter looks way more appealing on the fire arm.2) spec rail allows my Venom to sit perfectly with no canting.3) it's aluminum and is lighter than the stock rail. 29g vs 19g.My only con and the only reason this far I have knocked 1 star off this product is there is no cut out/recess where the ejection port is on the handgun. Several other aftermarket rails that are around the same price( maybe 3-5$ more) have this recess. My concern is this will cause reliability issues (mainly stovepipes) with the firearm. If MSP makes a cut out on this it is 100% a 5+ star product.
