This is a nice big mailbox but as far as the powder coating goes it doesn't have it. It is spray painted and ever since purchased I have repainted it every year.

Amazing mailbox, I bought this along with the “also sold with” black post. Holes didn’t line up, could’ve went to Home Depot to buy grid bracket(case closed). But made do with new holes and washers.Getting the post though and adding a 4x4 inside of it and also adding the depth in the ground. Surely the next amazing person that hits my mailbox will be towing their car from the scene.Some ready mix concrete, then adding some expansion foam with loose gravel… thing will not budge. Honestly hoping someone hits it, just to see what kind of damage it can take. Hahah

The box is awesome very cool. It came damage corners bent and door was binded but amazon was able to resolve my problem and very hapoy with the out come i would recomend the box but they need to protect it better

First off the photos they have show no rivets on the side, so it’s not a smooth minimal look.It’s smaller than you think.The locking mechanism can be easily accessed from inside and you could pull the thin metal down if you really wanted to steal mail.We had to cut the metal post cap to fit the the bottom properly so there isn’t overhang.We had to cut more so the door wouldn’t hit the metal edges when it was open. We ordered the post suggested by them.If I saw these things ahead of time I think we were kept looking and right now I don’t wanna deal with the hassle of returns we don’t have time.
