I’ve been using these burners for a number of years now and they still work.,There was a chemical odor that took months to stop, that’s my only complaint. Just needed to be certain to have the range hood fan sucking out the bad air.

I like this set of 4 burner element since it fits my 25 years old Whirlpool electric range. I like it because it comes with 4 set of wires, 4 sockets, Ceramic wire connectors to prevent melting from the heat. 2 Small burners getting heat to RED quickly, but the 2 bigger sizes take a few minutes to turn to RED. However, even the bigger burner don’t turn RED quickly, it still heat up real Quick, I can feel the heat from 1 feet above. It looks good, heat up quickly, and very inexpensive .

Better price than the usual appliance parts place I was dealing with, the plugs are even correct. Yay. Got the whole deal for a few $$ more than 2 connectors that were wrong size. One more burner control to install, then the oven controls, & the stove will be rebuilt.They dont seem to heat as quickly as the old burners or get as hot. On 3 for 10 minutes doesn't heat a can of soup quite to boiling, so 3 1/2 or 4 works better. Different but OK.

It would have been nice to have had instructions, or a link to instructions, or to a video. Two things will help you: Use the old receptacles as a template, and make sure you push the burner plates all the way into the burner receptacles or the burners will not fit in the stove holes. Also I bought a box of various sizes of wire twisters from Amazon and they worked better the the ones that came with the kit.Overall, this is a very good kit. The burners are of great quality and the receptacles are as well. They fit better than the originals did and even came with more coils which is wonderful, heats more even.

EDIT: in late 2019 these were shipped with only 1 receptacle. They have (obviously?) changed the listing since then, and at some point in time decided to send 4 connectors. These were "plug'n'play" with the old Roper stove EDIT: I did go ahead and change all 4 receptacles) in my friend's Northern CA investment home which I have been lucky enough to have been living in for over 5 years now. The only surprise came is when they arrived. I was surprised to find only 1 receptacle inside. I had to go take another look at the listing to see that there was only 1 included. I guess it was an oversight on my part, but it begs the question as to why would someone order 4 burners, and 1 connector??? Anyways, I quickly proceeded (we were trying to get this done over the winter break) to order 4 receptacles on Amazon. So, now I have 5...oh well. The prices and quality are awesome. Much lower pricing than Lowe's, Ace, or Home Depot. The quality was excellent EDIT: AS OF 11/19/2022 they are still working great. I live alone, but I do often cook. I believe the receptacles are actually the same brand as the originals. Take you time doing the wire splicing and shrink wrapping. Consider taking a photo with your phone before unwiring the originals. Cut the power at the breaker and/or entire house (I do the entire house just because of the setup) and do not rely on the stove switches. Examine the steel portions of the stove / catch basin for rust and consider treating rusted areas especially if your entire kitchen is designed around the electrical stove like this one.
