Do not waste your money on this. Battery life is maybe 4-5 hours from what I can presume is a full charge. The program on it does not know how to read metadata on songs or albums. The buttons quit registering after a month or being used. It has a habit of resetting itself if you try to skip two songs too quickly or if you plug in a charging cord while it is in use. Or it will freeze on a single sound until you turn it off and wait ~15 seconds for it to actually turn off.I don't think the soldering or physical device is faulty but they just got some drunkard monkey that doesn't know how to flush a toilet to do the software part. It is absolute trash. If you buy this, you are buying a fragile month-long item that will destroy itself.

Crappy! Don't buy! Couldn't upload music to it. Very cheaply made. Headphones fell apart too. (This was within the first week.)

It plays music at least, but it always crashes and reboots the second time I go into the settings menu.

Unlike the 15-20 mp3 players I have owned in the past, this one is completely unrecognizable by my laptop, despite changing the USB setting to "Transfer," thus rendering it completely unusable. The scant directions don't even mention connectivity and online support cannot be found. Oddly, when I purchased this several days ago there were literally nothing but five-star reviews for it on Amazon; now, this appears to be the only review. Extremely shady. Do not buy.

Utterly useless, absolutely worthless. Won't play back tracks in the correct order, no matter what you do. You can add numbers to file-names, specify the track-numbers in the metadata, you can even try transferring the files over to the device in the order in which you want them to play back, but it makes no difference; it still plays them back in any random order no matter what. And since I primarily bought this thing for the purpose of listening to audiobooks and language-instruction, both of which I play back in specific order of chapters, that makes this thing doubly-useless for either purpose. It also doesn't give clear indication or distinction between folders or individual files. You can think you're inside of a particular folder, but instead be opening up only a single file. All in all this thing is completely useless. Don't waste your time or money on it. Save your $$$ and buy a good device instead. (What is a "good device?" Good question. Since SanDisk stopped manufacturing their Clip Jam, I have yet to find anything else that even comes close to it in quality. I'm still looking.)

The buttons don't work. It is impossible to change anything or select anything. I am sure other aspects of it work, but without the buttons, it is not worth the price.

Don't expect to use headphones for long before on it. The headphone jack died after less than two months.
