I have reviewed a lot of Blue Tooth equipment at this point, and when I reviewed a music player someone always said the Luoren is as good at half the price. At sdome point I had to try their equipment, and I have. What they said was true. Luoren competes with players selling for twice as much. It is a very basic player without a lot of frills, but if what you want is a player, so you can leave your phone at home, or not burn the battery out... this is worth a look.I have gotten to the poimnt where I see "kids' player" as a basic player, without a current processor, or version of android. Probably won't have browser, or camera... BUT I gte music players to play music. Granted I am partial to audiophile equipment. You won't find ity in this prive range. You also aren't liiely to finmd a streaming player that works, redliably, at this price from anyone but Luoren.That said, yes, this is a basic player, that works fine. You do not get a browsert, can't use the polay store to download appps, but you get a perfectly functional streaming player for what you might expet to pay for a player with just blure tooth, and no wifi.It does have parental conmtrols, and kids spotify, for those who ar3e looking for a kids' player, but if you are looking for a decent streaming player at a price which wont break the bank, one for the gym, or your locker, or just a low cost player that works, here it is.I am always happy to try out equipment from Luoren. They are honest about what they are giving you. They are exoerienced at making thhis equipment, and it feels finished, unlike some other equipment in this price range. It reallly ias as good as a lot of equipmen5 sold for twice the price.This one is runing Android 9, not current, but current enough that you can run a current version of Spotify... and not have to deal nwith the quirks of older versions. It is not the fastest processor, but is fast enough, and has ram enough that it did not crash when I did set up while listening to music (some do)..It's a very good deal if you are looking for qa basic player for yourself, or a child.

Nice MP3 player, it was easy to pair up with headphones via bluetooth. The sound quality is better than I expected, it functions well and it's easy to use. The only bad thing for me is that the battery does not last. I have charged it to 100% completely and did not used it for three days and when I went to use it, it was DEAD. Something to keep in mind.

Slow operating system, but it does the job. I just needed my autistic son to be able to listen to music. I was able to block chrome and it has parental controls.

Simply put, this is basically a Android Version 9 (Pie) Cell phone, without the Cell phone function (chips/hardware). It looks like a standard Android Phone, the UI looks and feels like a standard Android Phone, so it's very familiar (and easy to use) for anyone that has any experience with a Android Phone. It's SO darn easy to use. I just plugged it into my computer and dropped all the media files (& folders) that I wanted on the device and they copied right over. The 16GB built in was going to be small for me, so I got and popped in a 256GB card (about $20) and it almost feels like the size is limitless now... I've found the battery life to be great - much better than a cell phone - and of course, withtout the Call phone hardware using battery power, it lasts a lot longer than my cell phone. The sound quality it very good and I've used it with both bluetooth headphones and wired headphones. The screensize a fair bit smaller than my cell phone, but it's good for navigating the menus & selecting media to play. It does work to play video, I've tried that out and have a couple video files on my player, but for me, the screen is definately smaller than I'd like for a video player. But, that's just me, if you ok with the smaller screen, it works fine.
