cheap, plastic, flimsy, tears the ribbon almost immediately, Didn't work for me, going back to brand nameUPDATE: October 30 2017Mr. Pen made a lot of improvements on the product and sent me a set for an opinion. I didn't bother for several days then I needed to make a correction and there Mr. Pen sat staring at me on the kitchen table. So I gave it a try. One of the problems that it had before was the little wheel that gathered the used ribbon. It did not work no matter what I did. On the NEW Mr. PEN, the wheel gathering the used ribbon works very well. After I used it on the immediate fix, I went from room to room looking for things that I could cover with the white tape on differ4ent types of surfaces. It worked very well on paper, cardboard, slick commercial envelopes. backs of printed pictures, bottoms of smooth glass ware, Tupperware, zip lock bags, plastic drawer dividers, file folders, and hard case suitcases. I could go on & on but you get the idea. I am not easily swayed from an opinion but Mr. PEN has really improved so much that I was compelled to let others know. I don't think I reviewed the rubber eraser the first time. I have since used it and I have to say, it is the best eraser that I have ever used. It really erases completely even colored pencil. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Especially those that want a product that works without a lot of breakage & mess.

I ordered this tape because of the really good design and its price. It was more of a natural way of swiping the tape sideways then other products where you have to swipe with a downward motion. At first I had issues using this tape. It would unroll and I couldn't roll it back. It was frustrating. I figured I would just have to find the "trick" in using it myself and that it was my ineptitude in the use of the tape, lol. Talking with Courtney in Customer Service, gave me more insight on the possible reasons for the poor operation of the roller, none of which would've been my fault, and gave me tips on how to operate the dispenser better, and I agreed. I didn't really want a refund, because I thought it would be a hassle returning, and it wasn't expensive anyway, I just thought I would express my thoughts on the design. Because it is a really good design. I can't say enough about their Customer Service! Even though I didn't want a refund or even a new package, Courtney refined my money and said she'd send me a new package! I received my refund even before we agreed on what would happen with everything. I have since worked out the bugs with the original tape, and I can't say enough about the Customer Service! Courtney was awesome!

I bought these correction tapes with high hopes because they looked so cute. I normally buy the Bic ones whenever I stop by Staples, but I decided to go for a cheaper option. My mistake. Out of the 4 I've used so far, all 4 have gone to waste.A couple issues I've had:1. The whiteout doesn't come out in one nice strip. It's often in pieces and uneven, with bubbles and bumps.2. The whiteout is no good. It feels dry and doesn't properly stick to the paper. I had to use my finger to press it down to get it to stick. It's basically like bad scotch tape. I thought mine had expired or something...if whiteout has an expiration date. But it seems to be a general problem with this whiteout.3. I wasted so much white out because you can't wind the tape back inside when too much of the tape comes out, which actually happens very often.I initially thought maybe mine was a bad batch or maybe the whiteout was too old, which may have been why the whiteout did not stick to the paper. I just looked at the other reviews, and it seems like other people are having the same issues I had, so it's not just a faulty product I got but the product just isn't that great in general. Overall, I'd say the free erasers that came with it work much better than the actual correction tape. I also like the clear mustache sticker, which made its permanent home in my planner.Because the whiteout tapes are pretty much useless, I now have to find myself a pack of Bic correctors. Even if I have to waste an extra couple bucks, at least I know the correction tape will at the bare minimum do its job and cover my ink oopsies.If you do plan on buying it, go ahead. Who am I to stop you? I looked at some of the bad reviews too before I bought it and I really should have listened. But just remember that if your set doesn't work or turns out bad like ours did, we, the 1-star givers of this product, have warned ya.Seriously though; may the odds be in your favor. I know some people had no issues with these.Update: Customer service is on point. They reached out to me and gave me a full refund. Definitely wasn't expecting that. They also offered to send me another set, entirely free of charge (thank you, Courtney). I didn't want another set, due to having already bought new correction tape, but I was more than happy to hear they were trying to do everything to make the customer happy. Now that's a company I want to support (even if their products still need to level up). In terms of the erasers, which I liked, I still like them and use them regularly.1 star was what I initially gave+ 1 star b/c customer service reached out to me first+ 1 star for full refund+ 1 star for offering to replace the set free of chargeTotal: 4 stars

HORRIBLE product all should choose another product. I read the reviews for this item and felt pretty confident that this would be a good buy. I hate to say that it was one of the biggest mistakes I made. You get what you pay for. This is no deal. The correction tape is terrible. It does not stick to paper well and when you do finally get it to stick, it does not simply tear off when you lift it off. When ends up happening is that the tape spools out of the cartridge and due to the poor design of the mechanisms inside there is no way to retract it. So you are left with a big mess. Trying to get the sprockets or wheels to take up the slack of the tape that is unraveled is almost impossible. I ended up throwing all of the cartridges away. They are worthless. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one because I was so upset and disappointed with my purchase. I hate to see my hard earned money go into the garbage. Shame on the manufacturer. Please take my word for it, spend a few extra dollars and get the name brand stuff that simply works as it should!
