this is a BIG ball joint tool — review the photographs! honestly it's a bit oversized for the work I have, but regardless i'm impressed with this ball joint puller. to start with, the casting is well finished and there's no rust to be found, as the tool came covered in oil. the threads are an acme form for strength and smooth action. there's a hardened ball embedded in the screw to prevent deformation. the casting is thin to fit between the ball joint and the arm. there is a hex on the body of the tool, but i found it easier simply to wedge the barrel against the steering arm so the car takes the torque.all in all a solid tool, but rather oversized for the average car.
