I actually got this for a telescope rather than for a fryer as it was the exact dimensions I needed. It's lightweight yet still provides ample protection from the elements. I tested the cover by spraying water on the outside for a few minutes to see if water would leak in, which it did not. The zipper is shielded with a lip to ensure water doesn't seep in. Overall, it looks as though the materials used will hold up well in an outdoor environment. I'm able to trust this cover with a $4000 telescope rig, so rest assured it should keep your fryer safe and in good condition.
