After I installed it on the lawnmower and started it up, it started full throttle and won't change. The 30 days passed as we were trying to adjust it, so I'm stuck with it.

This carburetor MTD-951-05149, assembly HY-4P90F is the exact replacement of the Craftsman model # 247.290000 mower. It wasn't hard to change out and when I turned the key it started right up. I'm totally satisfied with this product.

The sensor on the bottom leaks fuel. Dont know if it was bent in shipping or if that is how it was from the factory. I will try to use my old sensor to fix, but this defeats the purpose of buying a complete carb.
