Does what is advertised. The hinges and latches will eventually break with consistently heavy loads and rough use. It is just a thin piece of molded plastic they latch on to. Once broken, you either throw away the lid or the box depending on which one broke.

Perhaps not pelican/storm case tough, but way less expensive and useful sized. While photographed with a shoulder strap, no such strap shipped with mine.
