These are almost an exact duplicate of the Mabett mudflats, except that they use smaller bolts. That is not entirely a bad thing as the bolts that come with these claim to be stainless steel (unlike the Mabett hardware that rusted immediately. I had broken a rear Mabett mudflap in deep snow and didn't feel like spending $135 for a whole set when I only needed one. This product fit the bill nicely and I still have the otters three for spares.

I would have passed if I knew. First off, the bolts are all about a half inch too long. In the front they block the ability to easily get to the front easy turn fastener. The bolt gets in the way. Then there is the fact the brackets threads are blocked by paint, so you need to get a tap and chase the threads. If you have the covers that block the opening on the crash bars the flaps will not fit unless you oblong the hole for the stock screw clip.

These are decent mudflaps and will serve their intended purpose. Their installation isn't the easiest, but it never is as easy as it seems with these types of things. They do appear to be a clone of another brand, but that's okay. As long as they fulfill their purpose and keep rocks from scratching up my doors, I'll be happy with them. They appear to be made just as well as any other plastic mudflaps.

As another reviewer noted, these look like the Mabett mud flaps minus the silly logo. But installation is quite a bit different IIRC. And from what I remember I prefer the Mabett approach as there is NO WAY I would have gotten these mud flaps if I had known one has to remove the fender flares to install (the product page photo showing that is hidden in the "3+ stack" and I didn't see it. I didn't see anything in the write-up either).So yes, nice mud flaps. But it's going to be a PIA to install.3 stars.

I was concerned about the look of the mud-flaps on my vehicle but they are fine and keep the rock chips off the new paint. Before I installed them the tires were constantly throwing rocks and debris up on the sides of the Bronco. No longer a problem. I think they are great and have recommended them to some friends that are having the same problems. They were also easy to install. No drilling of any kind. Great buy.

These appear to be exactly the same as the Mabett and IAG mudflaps, but without the ugly mountain design molded in their mudflaps, and much cheaper.. I’m assuming they’re all made by the same Chinese company. I took a risk because there were no reviews on these, but they’re actually great. Excellent quality. The screws have stamping on them showing they are stainless steel. I may get some nylon U clips to replace the steel ones so I don’t mess up the paint, and I will probably replace the washers with stainless steel ones so I don’t deal with rust. The spray paint on the metal bracket is OK, but I’ll probably give it another coat just in case. Right now I’m only planning to install the front mudflaps, but I’ll keep the rear ones around just in case I want to install them later. But buying all four of these was cheaper than buying just the front mudflaps from Mabett or IAG.UPDATE: so I purchased some nylon C clips on Amazon that fit perfectly and won’t scratch the paint. https://a.co/d/3LMGIWq. Then got some stainless # 10, 1 inch Panhead Phillips sheet metal screw screws. Use this pair to attach the metal bracket to the car. Then attached the mudflap to the bracket using the supplied hardware.. Worked perfectly. picture attached.
