These are longer than the ones that come attached to drip head I had on hand, but were just as easy to install.I cut my 1/4 in lines to length, I do at least 10 at a time.Then turn the heat gun on low setting, hold one end of hose in front of heat for 3-4 seconds and press it over one end of barb connector, then the other end for 3-4 seconds and connect to drip head.After I assemble the 1/4 inch lines I punch my 1/2 inch line and install the lines as needed.

Easy on the hands. Hard enough not to collapse the water inlets. But hard enough to make it easy for installation. I have 32 stations with max 15 connections it made the job easy

These were a tight fit but work great. Like a lot of people, I softened the little hose by dipping the end in boiling water first and then attaching to the coupling. But outside I've been able to slip them on with a little water to lubricate.

Used for repurposed hose, drilling pilot hole then these barbs w/tubing to spot water plants. Barbed design seems to anchor despite capped hose water pressure
