I purchased this for my classroom small group table as a way to signal to other students that they may not ask me questions when the light is on. My students love it and are the ones who remind me to turn it on when our small groups begin. They even tell the other students that “Sammy the slug” is on so Mrs. Wehrung can’t help you . It is easy to turn off and on, my students love pushing the antennae together to control the light . Charging is easy. Mine did not come with a remote control, but it is easy r ough to turn off and on without one. It is very sturdy and provides just the right amount of light , without being too bright .

These are so cute! Our teachers use them in their little reading nooks in their classrooms. They seem to have a calming effect on students. They are soft, matte plastic and slightly squishy. They turn off and on by clicking their eyes together which makes them even cuter. Very popular with teachers and kiddos.

This slug is made of good quality materials--the light it emits is so nice. I will use it during small groups as it has a 15 minute timer to keep me & my class on track with rotations. My idea is that when it's on & with a small group, it should be silent ( well as silent as an primary class can be ) so we will name him--maybe Silent Sammy the Slug or some alliteration :)

My girlfriend and I love this little guy. We take him on our adventures with us. Mr. Squishy has become a thing we do for a good little laugh to send to our friends. Has a 15 min timer and an a on switch. Rechargeable battery. He's great fun.
