About this item

  • How to Make Your Garden Look Great: How can garden enthusiasts easily bid farewell to messy landscapes and maintain a clean and tidy garden? With our mulch glue, you can easily create stunning and long-lasting outdoor spaces. Mulch glue for landscaping has strong adhesion and is suitable for use in landscape areas. It is suitable for sand, pine grass, small pebbles, sawdust, and small gravel, leaving the covering in place!
  • What You Will Get: The set includes 1 bucket of concentrate mulch gravel binder glue (2l/0.52gal), 1 pair of nitrile disposable gloves, the large capacity covering adhesive is convenient for daily use. Our covering adhesive is permeable and will not affect the roots of plants.
  • Fast Drying and Lasting: Our gravel mulch glue concentrated formula is fast drying and lasting. After spraying, it will dry quickly and provide maintenance for 24-36 months. Our landscape adhesive can effectively prevent displacement caused by wind and rain, ensuring that your coverings remain in place while strengthening erosion control on slopes and uneven terrain. Stop continuous cleaning and landscape maintenance to make your life easier!
  • Easy to Use: To protect hands, wear nitrile gloves before operation. Before use, shake the mulch glue thoroughly, dilute it 1:1 with water and pour it into the garden spray (before spraying, ensure that the substrate is dry, smooth and free of moisture, mud or dust). We recommend applying 2-3 layers for optimal results, allowing each layer to completely dry before spraying the next layer.

For example, fixing coverings around trees, flower beds, borders, slopes, and garden boundaries makes it a versatile choice that meets all your outdoor landscape needs, suitable for both professional horticulturists and DIY enthusiasts.

This mulch glue is a decent product for keeping landscaping materials in place, though it's not without its quirks. The concentrate mixes easily with water, and the included gloves are a nice touch. It does seem to help hold mulch and small gravel together, which is helpful for preventing wind and rain from scattering things. The fast-drying claim is mostly accurate, though it can take a bit longer in humid conditions. I'm a little hesitant about the 24-36 month claim, as I've only used it for a short time. The instructions are straightforward, but it's important to make sure the area is completely dry before applying. It's a useful product for tidying up garden areas, but it's not a miracle worker. It's a solid option for basic landscaping needs.NOTE: I am a member of the Vine Voice program and received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest review. Mulch Glue 4L/1.05Gal. I mixed this glue following the merchant directions and I did not had any problem using it. I sprayed three coats and it kept the small rocks together. I am not sure how long it will last but as now I’m happy with the results.

A very bad product, it doesn’t create adherence on the rocks or the Muclh. And it loose its Glow a few days after application

We had lots of landscaping done last Fall. There were some mulched areas of concern, so we decided to try mulch glue to prevent mulch from being washed down to the walkway and alley. We tried four different mulch glues, so this is sort of a comparative experience of application.Preparation: This mulch glue comes in a 1-gallon jug. It arrived nicely packed, with instructions. It has to be diluted for application. I suggest using gloves and cleaning the area immediately. We got some drops on the pavers, and it took us some time to clean them later. All four mulch glues were messy to dilute; this one falls right in the middle of the pack.Application: I went with a 1:1 dilution ratio, and it was nearly impossible to spray it with the sprayer - it's too viscous. Though, I have to admit that temperatures were below the recommended level. Application through the can was easier, but cleaning the watering can afterwards takes more time than the application itself. The glue dried within a few hours, with no effect on the color of mulch. After drying, the glue seems to create some kind of film covering the mulch. The thicker the application, the thicker the film. It stands well against regular watering - and we water our new plants a lot. However, if you step on mulch covered with glue, or drag a water hose over it, it breaks - don't expect any miracles here. The glue has been there through winter, and it seems to be holding well. Out of four brands of mulch glue we used, this one appears to be the most expensive per square foot. However, all other brands we used were mentioning 12 months of control, while this one claims 24-36 months. If it stands for 2 or 3 years, it's totally worth it.

I don't have any gravel or rock ground covering, so I can't comment on how well this glue works on that, but for our wood bark mulch I am impressed. One of our landscape beds is located in an area that temporarily floods when it rains, and when the water builds up in this area, it turns into a mini river that washes away the mulch. After using this mulch glue, the mulch stays in place and I am very happy about that!I mixed the glue right in my spray bottle, following the instructions to use one part water to one part glue. I just shook it it to mix, which worked fine. I used an inexpensive spray bottle from the dollar store because I was afraid of gunking up our garden sprayer with glue, but the glue is water soluble and not very thick, and I don't think it would be an issue in a garden sprayer as long as you clean it out right away. Wet glue rinsed right off my hands and my equipment with water. Gloves were kindly included in this kit but I did not feel I needed to use them. Also, keep in mind that the area I treated is fairly small; if you have a large area to cover, a garden sprayer would probably be the way to go. Using a trigger spray bottle like I did would be possible, but very tedious and time-consuming on a large area.I applied three thin coats of glue to the mulch, letting each coat dry before applying the next. We are still having warm, sunny weather; each coat dried in about 30-45 minutes (or so) on a sunny day that was about 85 degrees. After all 3 coats dried, the glue looked sort of glossy and it made my brown bark mulch look newer and darker. I have used a similar product in the past and the glossiness faded over time for a more natural look; I'm assuming that will be the case with this glue but I can't be certain. Also, based on my experience with similar glue, it doesn't last forever; the outside elements will eventually degrade it and you'll have to reapply, but for me it lasted pretty much through the spring and summer. I suppose it will depend on how thick you apply it and what type of weather conditions your area has. Bark mulch also doesn't last forever; we will be applying a new layer of bark mulch in the spring and it will need glue, so reapplying is necessary for us, regardless.Overall, this is a great product that solved our problem of mulch constantly being washed away. It was easy to apply with a cheap spray bottle, and also cleaned up easily before it dried. I know it won't last forever but it is easy to apply, so I won't mind applying it again several months down the road.
