It's a microwave plate, just like the original and fits perfectly in my microwave. So far, has lasted a month without problems.

Arrived perfectly! I actually bought this to use in our advantium as an extra plate for warming food - so I wouldn't have to use our dinnerware, which I think sometimes develops little cracks in it over time if used in the microwave. This works great!

It didn't fit my microwave and it was a pain in the butt to return. And yeah, I should check my manual, blah blah blah, but it's an old el cheap apartment microwave that I just needed a replacement for so I wouldn't be charged for the one that I broke. Measuring it didn't help much, it's hard to know which plate is going to fit because it really depends on the little grooves on the turn table thing, not the actual diameter of the plate. I ended up going with the smallest size I could find, 9" I think, which fits my microwave okay enough that the turn table doesn't grind trying to turn it.
