Perfect replacement rope! I would recommend getting the larger size as it takes more than you would think, and I only needed to repair a pole that was 12 inches. Holds up great, just as any other rope does against cat claws!

We bought this to replace the old twine our cats had scratched to pieces. Super easy to replace and we didn't have to buy a new car tree!

This stuff worked so well. I just replaced the yarn and kept my cats scratching post. No need to buy a whole new post. Looks great now.

Edit: 9-4-24I will be purchasing different sisal. My cats have a hard time using their claws on this sisal since it's soft and not shreddable. They've been avoiding it.I needed sisal to repair one of my cat trees. I've done these repairs numerous of times. Unfortunately the town I live in is small and doesn't have a variety of stores. I was unable to find Sisal elsewhere in town besides Walmart, but I found that sisal to be to rough to the touch and prickly. Bought this on a whim and I like it so much better. It's soft and it seems like it will hold up to shredding better than the previous sisal I was buying. I purchased white, 164ft.

useful for replacing the rope on a cat tree if your cats tend to wear them out. i was able to use glue to adhere it to my worn out cat tree and it’s looking so much better. i need to order more

Colour is much more pale than picture, was expecting hot pink, this is a pastel baby pink. Unfortunately it doest match my project, disappointed as I was looking forward to my hot pink scratching post! Otherwise I'm sure rope is okay, ball on string is a bonus.
