So, yes, it looks decent and it fits, but know that it is not illuminated like the vents on US production vehicles Maybe not a huge thing, but its a deficiency. Its like the connector is there, but no wires .Very very odd.So, you can use parts from this to repair yours (I was able to remove the little plastic piece behind the right/left lever and put on my OE one). I also, had I been more careful in removing plastic pieces, could have taken the illuminated dial off the old one and put it on this one. But, I broke the dial on this one removing it.Otherwise, the quality is surprisingly good, just know it is not illuminated.Also, to remove it (this was a 2015 GL350/450/550) - gently push up from the bottom, increasing pressure until you can also pull it forward. There are 2 spring loaded clips on the top and bottom, removing tension on the lower ones will allow you to pull forward, then the upper ones will not have tension and you can pull down and pull it out - taking care not to break any plastic retainers. There is a small electrical connector that is easily removed - this is what provides the illumination that is missing from this product.
