Made in America and it shows, rubber accordion seals at both ends and nicely cast round ends on cable.

I could not obtain an OEM part through 3 local power equipment stores, likely due to the age of my snowthrower. One dealer told me the OEM part was no longer available. After searching for other cables, I found this one, and it appeared similar to the OEM part. The part that arrived worked perfectly as a replacement for my Husqvarna ST 927E (ST927E) snowthrower's Chute Control Cable. For anyone else searching, the part this cable replaced is Husqvarna item "601 00 16 43" (601001643). The end loops are slightly larger than the OEM part, but they are secure on the bolts. The cable is slightly longer than the OEM version, but slightly changing the routing of the cable and using a zip tie made it work. I have included pictures of the original and new cables. The new cable has the accordion style rubber boot on the chute end, which appears as if it will keep out snow and ice better than the OEM cable did.
