The only slight downside I might mention is that it would be nice if it came with a case or pouch for the sharper utensils. I guess you could put them into the mushroom bag, but I'd prefer it if they had their own carrying case to avoid any rips or cuts from the blades.But overall, this is a great little mushroom-hunting kit! I absolutely hate eating mushrooms, but I love admiring them as they grow. My sister likes eating the edible ones that grow around here, so I figured we could go mushroom-hunting one of these days since I like finding them and she likes eating them.It would be nice, too, if it came with a little instruction booklet, like to explain which tool to use where or how. But I guess that's what YouTube is for, right?

Really cute little kit and even if you don't use it for it's intended purpose, pretty much everything in this kit can be repurposed. The bag is really big and may become a bag for behind my car seat at some point. The tools will probably not last long as they are not the best quality but I am sure they will hold up for a while. The knife was really interesting how it has a brush attached. Could make it a bit weird to have in your pocket though. The one biggest thing this kit is missing is a basic guide on mushrooms considering that there are a lot of very poisonous mushrooms out there. DO NOT buy this kit for kids unless they are very schooled on what mushrooms are edible. If you know your mushrooms, fantastic little kit for the price.
