How much water a plant needs to be watered is determined by the local climate, the size of the plant, and the dryness and humidity of the soil; It is hard to control. I like the one piece construction of these plant watering spikes. They are one piece so they won't come apart like other types. They're also cute and look nice in my plants.

Perfect size for medium/large plants. Was slightly confused how these worked at first as I was expecting holes to be at the bottom of them, but the ceramic slowly seep water to the plant overtime! They are sturdy and beautifully painted ceramic.

These do not work. Also they are painted with acrylic paint on the part that goes into the soil which rubbed off on my hand. I soaked them in a bowl of water for about an hour in hopes that it got some of the paint off or at least the powder like part off of it. They only water 1 part of the soil so your plant doesn't get enough water to sustain it. You have to refill it every other day. It is only about an inch deep but extremely huge and takes up a large amount of space. It damages the root when you put it in the soil. I wouldn't even recommend these as decoration.

These self watering spikes are way over priced. They serve the purpose. The painting detail is basic. Not super cute, but not ugly. They are fragile. I would only get them again if they cost less.

They work great. Have had some white mold grow on them but I just spray some hydrogen peroxide on them and it takes care of it
