The lamp can be adjusted for brightness, color, and focus. It can be used as a single light or separated to light up both halves of opened sheet music. The only downside is that its on-off switch is very sensitive, so it could accidentally be turned on, draining the battery, but all its other features more than make up for that.

Works well and is light for attachment to a music stand.Bright enough on the high white setting. Not sure all the other display options will be that helpful.

Having misplaced/lost an older previous music stand light, I had high hopes for this one, with the description indicating 8 levels of brightness (but it had only 3). It arrived in the small box with the light on and was dim. I charged it for the the recommended two hours, but even then, it wasn't at all bright. As other reviewers mentioned, the on/off switch is extremely sensitive. For these reasons, I do not recommend purchase and am returning it.
