I have been a ford fan all my life and rebuilt many motors but I will say that the ford motorsport lifters have been a big letdown. I have bought three sets and there have been problems with them, cold starts are the worst. It takes a few seconds for them to pump up, could there be a problem with the lifter bores probably not because there`s very good oil pressure.

Bought this for a mild camshaft swap and figured the Ford Racing product would be of high quality. Unfortunately the lifters are very rough. The cut lines in the pictures look nice and smooth, the cut lines in reality are jagged and prone to dropping debris. A small chunk fell off my lifter during wiping, could have been catastrophic to a camshaft lobe or if it got sucked up by the oil pickup. Debating simply returning this item.
