too big for my mare's dainty head, and slips sideways just like a halter, so does not protect the eyes like I wanted. She's a calm, easygoing mare, though, so she doesn't pull on the lunge line, so it works for what I need. The temple rings are great for bitting, too.

I gave this 3 stars before, but I'm changing my vote to 4 stars after doing a lot more lunging with this.I like it now. I've used it a lot and it's held up just fine. No trouble at all.It's easily adjustable. Light. And does fit most horses. BUT it does slop around and needs constant readjusting on horses with smaller heads. So like an Arabian? No. I wouldn't recommend. For a QH with a larger head? Yes. I would say, Medium to Large (not draft horse) types. Not small or pony size.It gets dirty easily so must keep the fuzzy nose band clean of debris, check it every time.If the straps are adjusted tight enough, then the nose band doesn't flop down very much, hardly.yes, if you're doing some easy lunging, this is a good buy.but I recommend the horse be well trained already to lunge work.

It broke the first time I tried to use. It snapped when i started lunging him. I was vary disappointed.
