Rope is rope and this is a good value!!! Used it to rope off overhead crane area and hang warning signs from it.

Maybe I don't understand what tensile strength means, but I tried using this line to hoist my 300 lb dinghy and the line broke. I'm not sure if it's exactly 300 lbs, but I know it's far from 1,490 lbs. Two of us can life the dinghy off the ground ourselves, so I know it's only around 300 lbs. FWIW, I was skeptical, so I made sure the dinghy would land safely if the line broke. I.e., no damage.

Excellent rope for the money, very strong, and it fuses easily with a small flame. I don't remember the rating purchased, but I pulled at least 500 pounds of wood 200 yards through mud with zero problems. It has withstood rain, snow and freezing over the past 2 months, still good and strong. I will use this on small to medium boats this spring with no worries.

This rope was exactly as described. I needed it for a light duty job, but it seemed sturdy enough to use on tougher jobs as well. It came on a sturdy wooden spool that made it easy to unravel and rewind it.

the rope appears to be the proper length. its good construction and does what it is supposed to do. The wooden spool that it comes on is good construction and works well to remove rope and reel it back in. Colors are easily visible.

Nice rope and a great deal. I got 600 feet for a bit more than I could get 125 feet local. And the strength of this rope is 10 times what the local rope is. Can't beat that.
