As you can see from the photo this item is substantially different than pictured. As pictured hat is made from hickory stripe material, which it predominately blue, and is usually heavier fabric in the 10oz range. As you can see from the picture posted, this fabric is 50/50 white and blue with not particularly strong dye in the blue parts. And let me tell you, sooo thin. Its been many years since I had a pillow made of similar looking material, but I would wager the pillow fabric being much thicker. This is so thin that it puts me in mind of a searsucker suit i bought at Brooks Brothers for summer, sans the slack-tension weave and ample dye. Manufacturer skimped not one detail they could skimp on. Notice the lack of exterior panel for the hat band, unlike the picture. Do you see in the picture advertised the nice tight top stitching that locks the panels together? Now look at my picture, they've been replaced with a LOOSE zig zag. This is false advertising at its worst.... Probably bordering on fraud... Different cheaper fabric, less panels, terrible stitching. Id be embarrassed to put a made in USA label on this rag.... Save some dough and buy a much better Chinese hat.... You will be more satisfied... Really saddened to say it, but made in USA apparently doesnt mean much to the manufacturer.

The engineers cap I received is not what is pictured. It is also a snap back. Not a welders cap. More of a railroad engineers cap or model train collectors cap. This is not a welding cap like others Kromer makes.

Not the hat that is advertised, and not a welders cap. Cheap kids train hat. Not usable for welding since it has a plastic size adjusting. Garbage!
