Once I got the hang of it I was able to shred through a huge pile of boxes after the holiday. It’s heavy duty, and you need to use care and safety. The instructions are bare minimum and it comes with parts that aren’t explained. It has a self sharpener stone on it. It has a safety lock. It cut through a wool rug easily too.

I've had other "electric scissors" before, but they weren't that great. I figured this one had to be nice for $120 even though it was a Chinese knock-off I took the chance. Got to say, I love several things about this tool and very few things I don't like. Firstly, it's the most powerful version of this tool I've ever used it will rip through 3/4 sheets of cardboard with barely a struggle. I like the fact that it also comes with multiple batteries, a charger, and extra wheels, etc. Finally, and the most important. This thing is completely serviceable. I started taking it apart one day, and it kept going, all the way down to the motor. I was impressed because a lot can go wrong just from the motor to the blade. The only dislike I have is I've had to learn what the different things were on it for as the instructions weren't clear, and it could also use a guard as I've cut my finger a couple times even though it was carelessness on my part.

No kidding folks! I promise that should be pretty spot on, as I weighed it quite a few times. And the fact that it's 2.13 pounds is actually really good news. Because according to the information available to customers before they buy this, it's supposed to weigh 1.4 kilograms, which is 3.09 pounds.Anyway, a lot about this rotary cutter is great, and so far I don't really have any complaints about it. And so, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering getting it. I would act fast though! Because I'm thinking that when these are all gone, they are gone. And I don't know if anyone else noticed, but the date that this rotary cutter was first available was November 17th, 2014. Heck, that's almost ten years ago now! Wow, gee golly that's a long time ago dontcha know?

The cutter effortlessly cuts the boxes I accumulate weekly, e.g., from Amazon, etc. It's much safer than a utility knife. It's lightweight. The battery lasts a long time, 30 minutes or more of use. You get an additional battery and a charging unit. The sharpener is very useful and attached to the tool, so you never have to look for it or use it incorrectly. In addition, the unit comes with two (2) additional cutting wheels.Two negative and uncritical remarks: The tool and accessories does not come with a case or bag. So I have to buy a carry case/bag. The second remark is without appearing prejudiced or racist, since the Chinese sell most of their electronics to the US, Product writing, instructions tool labeling, etc. should be written in English and not only in Chinese.

I first left a review with how happy I was with this product. 6 months in.. I hear the motor spinning, but it refuses to spin. I’m quite upset about this and don’t know how to contact the manufacturer. I’ve sent customer creative a few emails and they have not replied. So far, the customer service is negligent.It was a bumpy start to fix my machine, as common as it is, my emails sent to customer service was going to spam. Can’t be upset about that. However, they were amazingly quick to help me to get my machine to start working again. I didn’t have to wait weeks or months after the communication started. Within a few days I was able to cut fabric again. This machine is life saving and the customer service is just as amazing.
