As a dog mom to two corgis, this might be the best item I've ordered all year. For reference, I am 5' 5", and both the rake and pincher are the *perfect* length for my height. I don't have to bend over to use either, but they don't seem too long either. We also have grass & rock in our yard, so I used the tools on both terrains to determine my opinion with this review.-Pincher-This is the tool I was most excited to use. I find that it works best on grass, and best if your dog has sizeable droppings. I tried picking up a few smaller nuggets, and they were hard to pick up with the pinchers. Additionally, if a dropping isn't completely dried out, it sticks to the sides quite a bit.In the rocks, it wasn't difficult to pick up droppings regardless of their size, however, we have smaller pebbles. This meant a few rocks were picked up with the dog droppings. However, I think if the rocks were larger, this might not be an issue?-Rake & Pan-Ultimately, this tool is my favorite. It does great on the grass regardless of the dropping size. It also functions well on the rocks & you can easily ensure you don't scoop up any of your landscaping. Also, even if the dropping hasn't completely dried out, you can easily scoop it into the pan without it sticking.Overall, I think both tools serve a good purpose & I'm really excited to have them. We were using a simple scooping tool before, so I had to completely bend over and get right down next to the dropping to pick it up. These tools make the picking-up process so much faster & cleaner. If you have a pet and a backyard space, I highly recommend ordering this set and trying them out for yourself!

I own a little black German Shepherd Dog. She's a peach, and I love her dearly, but like with any pets you have to deal with their waste. Walking around the yard with a plastic bag picking up poo is not ideal so I purchased a scooper. The one I got broke in weeks so I was looking for a replacement. When I saw this kit I had to try it.Everything arrived disassembled, packed well, and in near-mint condition.Setup is easy. The poles of the rake and pan lock together and lock into the heads. The scoop just needs to be straightened and the slide lock clicked into place. Done. This is an awesome kit! The scooper is comparable to others I've owned. The rake and the pan are really cool! With the scoop you always run into the issue of poo that's been ground in, or just stuck to the ground, and the scoop won't grab it. With the rake you don't have to worry, you can easily pull it up enough for the scoop to grab. The pan is cool, though I'll use it less.Having this kit means there will rarely be a situation where you'll need to grab poo with your hands, at least when you're on your own property. This is worth its weight in gold. It's so much easier to keep the yard kept up now!

You know you're getting old when you get excited about pooper scooper tools. I got a very energetic dog last year and I am spending a lot more time in the yard (we have almost 2 acres) and it's not a good day when you step in the poo. We had been using shovels (and I have a shovel propped against several trees in different areas) but the problem with using a shovel is your turfing up the grass when you scoop. With 2 big dogs, I don't need any help turfing up the yard.I wanted this, mainly for the rake and tray. It does a great job raking the poo into the tray. I have big dogs, 2 of them, so I would have liked the tray to be a little larger - but its really not that much smaller than a shovel. The listing does say this is for small to medium dogs - so I cant really complain about that. I have placed the picker upper tool at the other end of the yard where I have less mess to clean up. This is a nice set, well made and I would buy it again.

I already have a pooper scooper set, but I selected this one specifically for the claw clamp. It works, but it has a few quirks that make it feel more like a backup tool than a main one.The entire clamp is made of plastic—which was unexpected, since I assumed at least the bottom scoop part would be metal like the rake and tray. The foldable design is convenient for storage or travel, but the way it folds causes the handle to press against the part that grabs waste. That kind of defeats the purpose when it comes to keeping things sanitary. It’s also fairly short, so unless you're quite petite, you’ll still have to bend a bit to use it comfortably. On the bright side, the rake, tray, and handles are all metal, and they seem to have a coating that prevents that usual metallic smell I’ve experienced with other sets. I think the finish will also help with rust resistance over time. The handles are noticeably longer than the ones on my older set, which makes cleanup easier on the back. The rake itself performs really well—even in grassy areas, it lifts waste without flicking it or getting stuck. All of the handles have loops at the ends, so you can easily hang them up when you're done. The one downside is the tray size—it’s fairly small and best suited for quick spot cleanups rather than full yard sweeps. If you're dealing with multiple dogs or larger yards, you'd find yourself emptying it often. If I could redesign this, I’d start by increasing the size of the tray—or better yet, swap it for a swivel bin. The claw could really benefit from a metal build, a longer handle, and a hinge that doesn’t fold in a way that contaminates the grip.Despite some things that could be improved, this set works for cleaning up pet waste and was easy to assemble.Value: The current price is $25.99 USD, which seems about average compared to other sets with similar features.3.9/5 Stars
