I actually have this working on an extension cord using a very heavy duty extension cord plugged into a 20amp breaker. Its hard to tell if this thing is running or not so i wish there was a status light when the heater was actually running. I have one of those inflatable Intex hot tubs and the internal heater died so i replaced it with this combined with the "VEVOR Swimming Pool Pump 1/2 HP 110V pump" suggested. I must warn you the Vevor pump does not come with useable connectors for US sized PVC pipe so you need to also get "Waterway Plastics 2 Pack of 400-4060" I have yet to confirm these fit my vevor pump however someone in its reviews already did. i ordered a set of "Waterway Plastics 2 Pack of 400-4060" to rebuild my water supply and outlet pipes. I can confirm that the large threaded connectors on this heater and the Vevor pump suggested are the same thread however the adapters that came with the Vevor pump did not fit US PVC pipe.. I had to epoxy an adapter into them which worked but i am getting a lot of cavitation since this pump is way overpowered for this setup. I am redoing the water supply and outlet pipes to reduce restrictions. also i may add a speed controller to the pump to slow it down a bit. My little hot tub was at 110F degrees this morning!!! If you plan to modify your inflatable hot tub it is not super easy but very doable.

Product worked as should for little over a month, then started leaking water from where the electrical cord entered. It tripped the ground fault breaker. Could not find any means of contacting company. Amazon was helpful with h a credit since it was past the return window.

Great replacement part and easy to change. Works great and it is at a reasonable price.

I bought a whirlpool tub several years ago and installed it in my den (i.e. my getaway) bathroom. It's a great tub but the problem with it is the water cools down too fast. Sitting in it for any period of time any longer than what a bath would normally take allows the water to become uncomfortably cold. You can't really enjoy the benefits of the whirlpool features. You can keep adding hot water, but that gets old. When I saw this great hot tub heater by Mxmoonant, I was instantly excited to get it installed ASAP! It turns out that the tub plumbing has a little section that is removable in order to insert an in-line heater! Who knew? What a difference a little circulating heat will do. Now there is no need to hurry out of the tub because it's getting too cold. Now all I have to worry about is my fingertips getting waterlogged! Well made, quality heater. I recommend it!Review for: Mxmoonant Hot Tub Thermostat, 2KW 110V Spa Bathtub Heater Thermostat with Temperature Control for 400 Gals Hot Tub, Whirlpool Bathtub, Spa, Small Pool (No Plug)

It seems to fit pipes but haven't tested it yet.
