Got this for my mom this Christmas in an attempt to settle her chicken addiction; while her obsession wasn't nullified (I might've actually fed it, hard to say), she still loved it.Wires seem sturdy, and the detailing is very well done. I approve

We love taking this to get the eggs! We put a wash rag in the bottom to help cushion the eggs from the metal when dropped in. The kids and get the eggs in and out easily. Mom can do it but has to maneuver just right to fit hand and egg through the hole. Dad must use only 2 fingers to get the egg in or out.

While this basket is super cute and sturdy I did buy it to store my fresh eggs in on the counter. The hole is very small (my husband can't get eggs out of it), so is the basket. You could maybe fit 12-18 large eggs in this basket at most. Save your money if you're looking at fresh egg storage and buy something bigger. As a decorative basket its fine.

When I got the basket it was smaller than I thought it would be. That's ok because it hold a dozen and a half eggs which is plenty to set on the counter. I absolutely love it. It's sturdy and thick enough that it doesn't bend out of shape. It would be a very nice gift to give some one especially if you filled it with fresh farm eggs.

I collect 5 eggs a day from my backyard chickens, and this product looks great for keeping them on my countertop or dining room table while waiting to make a full dozen! Cute and functional.

So cute! Came just as described. I wanted something small since we only have 5 chickens. Our other baskets have too much room and the eggs rattle around on their way back up to the house. As others have mentioned the hole is on the small side so a large man hand might not fit.

Such a cute basket!! The only thing I would change is that the handles stick out a bit farther than I would like since it takes up more space on my counter that way. Otherwise a very cute egg basket. It will hold a little over a dozen of my chickens eggs.
