Pieces didn't fit together, had to shave some of the wood down. Pretty flimsy ended up falling apart.

Reviews were mixed so I thought I'd give this a chance anyway. Well, most reviews were accurate in my case. Holes didn't completely line up. Im handy and fixed it up. But it's got a rocking feel, like not totally secure, bit wonky. It'll do to hold our old skateboard collection, like my 1990 Tony Hawk fishtail board or 1991 Groholsky skulls. But i wouldn't use it for everyday use. I think the constant movement would just break it

I really liked the assembly process for this skateboard rack. It's a simple build with only 4 pieces and a hand full of screws. All of the screw holes are predrilled so it was as easy as attaching the pieces together and securing them with the screw.This would make a great gift for a kid whose really into skateboarding as they can lean to put it together as well. One word of caution is to be careful of splinters. The pieces are smooth but I managed to get a splinter when handling it so just be a little cautious when putting it together.The final build stands tall and is able to hold 5 skateboards or longboards. I was finally able to get my boards off of the garage floor and stack them in a way that is both organized and aesthetic. I like everything about this skateboard rack but I will say that it does feel a little flimsy as each of the middle beam pieces are just held on using one screw through the center so it will flex and torsion when lifted with the boards on top. I don't think it will break easily but it is definitely not meant for any kind of abuse.

I originally loved this so much that when it broke I just bought another one. When the second one came it had two of the same piece in the box and was missing the other. So it was useless and couldn’t be put together.

The stand is made of solid wood with a light coating that gives it a semi-slick surface. Lightweight but durable - comes in 6 pieces with 8 screws that go into pre-drilled holes. Assembly took around 10 minutes from opening the box to adding my decks. Comfortably holds deck sizes from 80s vintage to reissues to current popsicles. I don't own any longboards but I suspect they would fit easily. Very pleased with the purchase!
