I chose to purchase this de-thatcher over the rest based on the positive reviews and glad that I did since it was a lower price cost with excellent build quality. I had no problems assembling it and it was super light, making it easy to maneuver around the lawn. My yard hasn't been de-thatched probably in like 20 years so it definitely needed it. I have never had any of my neighbors use one for there own lawns so I got many stares probably wondering what the heck I was even doing ;)

Worked good for the money but you can’t push it too hard. Did about 1000 square feet (going over it three times) and a bearing failed while I was using the scarifying attachment. The bearing spun in the plastic housing so it’s toast.Probably a good idea too clean it out often.

Taken out of box and assembled. Made sure there was power and the machine simply will not start. I have contacted the support email but have not gotten a response. I will update if and hopefully when I hear something from the company. Haven’t heard back from the company. Had to open the switch and fix it, after that it works.

Mower was perfect for what I needed. If you have san Augustine grass . The battery life lasted over 2 hours which was plenty for me. I have a small yard . It was easy to put together and easy to start . Very quiet . Came with two blades . All in all I would say great value for the money .

This worked better than I anticipated. The amount of dead grass and other material this solid (but very light-weight) unit raked up was exactly what I was hoping for! I was initially unsure about whether it would actually work but the first few seconds of operation took away my doubts. That said, there are a few things I would change if I could. The catcher is useless. The unit does not throw enough material far enough back into the catcher. The result is clumps of raked material being dragged around under the catcher. Second, the catcher, even if it did capture all the material is so small, you'd have to empty it every 10 feet. It makes more sense to just roll the unit across the area to loosen the thatch and then go back and gather it using a lawn mower as a vacuum, like I did. You can also gather it using a light yard rake and dump it (which is not ideal and a little more work, but still tons easier than doing the whole thing by hand). The only other thing I think may be an improvement is making the back wheels larger so it is a little easier to push. It's not terrible as it is now, but that may make it a little easier to push.I haven't used the other roller attachment yet, so will touch on that later.Overall, this is a great little machine and worth every penny.

I was very disappointed with dethatcher. Firstly, it seemed like it didn’t want to function. So I am not sure if I received a defective one or the quality is not good. When it finally began to work, it doesn’t really work very well. Barely notice the difference, seemed like I could have done a Better job by hand versus using this machine. Not worth it to me.

Very easy to assemble. I have only used the de-thatcher blade. But the machine is plenty powerful, lightweight. I don't think it's suitable for large lawn because you'd be emptying the catch bin every 20-30 feet. I'm only using it for large patches of dead lawn--and for that it is perfect. Can't beat the price.
