Got the clutchmaxpro kit with flywheel and counterweight as well and clutch blew… was not broken in correctly but blew before 1000 none the less. Was able to break this clutch and pp in correctly now that the engines rebuilt and better but had to machine the clutch max flywheel before installing this kit. None the less tho this clutch is well over 2000 miles now and doing good but when I need another not if I’ll be getting it here

Kit appears to be well put together, but they should put the pilot bearing and the bearing seal in a small box instead of just having them free rolling in the package as my seal arrived damaged. (Bent to oval shape)I tried to get it back to a circular shape, but I decided to just order another one for a different vendor instead of taking the risk installing a damaged seal.(See photo)If it wasn't for that I would have rated 5 stars.

This was a great kit for my son's RX8. The alignment tool was awesome and lined up the clutch perfectly with no fuss or muss. I was completely expecting to have to wiggle a little to get it lined up properly and this was a good snug fit. Great kit and components seemed to be good quality. Pilot bearing was a pain to remove and install, but not the part's fault.

Not impressed with this product at all. First when I bought the clutch kit they seller forgot to include the pilot bearing causing me to have to wait another week to put the tranny back in. After dealing with the seller, I retrieved my pilot beading and was able to complete the install. After 18,000 kms my throw out bearing has completely failed and I have to once again drop the transmission. NOT IMPRESSED

Soled by Amazon. Ships fast and fits perfectly...on my 04 rx8 (manual transylvania).... smooth as butter. i feel like the car rolled out of production line. gears as smooth. I asked for this in the dealership and they said $1400 for the job..... much better to buy from amazon, worth saving ur bucks.love Exedy. And thanks Amazon.ca

It's better than stock but it is organic which sometimes leaves a smell when first installing. (No fluid on it ) Other wise it seems to do it's job, used this to replace an ACT stage 2 clutch that died quickly due to a bearing. The hold is not as good but the feel is smooth and engagement feels a little better than stock. The model Exedy MZK1002 fit well for the Mazda RX8 2004, with a street port and a few other mods. I shall update after 2k miles.

I have been using Exedy clutches for years on multiple makes and models. This company makes factory clutches for a multitude of manufacturers and is second to none in fit and finish. Comes with pilot, throw out bearing, disc, pressure plate, and alignment tool.On a side note this was for a 2008 RX-8 which is not shown to fit for some reason. According to the fitment listing only till 2007 which is weird since pretty much all the RX8's should use the same clutch. I'm not a Mazda tech but contacted several I know and based off the Mazda part numbers all the clutches for RX8's are the same.
