Honestly, this is better than the OEM conductive pads that Xbox put in the Series 2 controller.My stock pad was a little oversized and didn't fit perfectly into the controller. I don't know why or how it was shipped this way, but it's like they shoved it in there and squished it to size instead of having it correctly line up the way it's intended to. The result is that the A and B buttons were more difficult to press.After discovering this issue I ordered this pad. A bit expensive, but I wanted to get it quickly. It fits into the controller perfectly, feels just as good (if not better) than the OEM pads, and since there's no alignment issues like the OEM pad all the buttons work flawlessly.A few tips: Use some Deoxit-It on your PCB to clean the contacts before reassembling! It goes a long way!Take some electrical, or duct tape, and cut it into very tiny squares that you can put underneath the buttons on the controller. Especially A and B. This will help the buttons press the contact pads deeper, making them more accurate.These controllers are very rewarding to work on so don't be scared! It's better than buying a new one! You can often make them even better than stock.

The B button on my Elite 2 controller required a noticeably harder press than other buttons on the controller or it wouldn't register and stay registered. Replacing the rubber contact pads with this product improved the responsiveness of the B button noticeably. The other buttons worked acceptably well both before and after installing this.The B button on my controller still isn't 100%. The sensitivity is still slightly lower than the other buttons, but I can't deny that these pads made a positive difference.

Can't be completely sure, but these feel and read the same as an oem set to me. No reason not to use these.
