I needed an extension to my Tesla wall charger and search for a while then decided on this one. I am impressed, well packaged, comes in a carry case. The cable is thicker than the original wall charger and the connection to the wall charger cable was easy and secure. The plug in looks very similar to the Tesla charger plugged in and started charging and getting the same KW as the original. I can now reach another 20 feet out into my driveway and do not have to rearrange the cars so I can charge. Excellent Quality, very functional, great length, with the cable being black and the charge connectors having silver and similar to the original charger.

I'm really impressed with the build quality of this EVCONN NACS extension cord. It feels incredibly solid and durable, like it can handle anything. The cable itself is seriously thick – reminds me of the kind of wiring you'd see in a house. It's made charging my Tesla so much easier these past few weeks. No more contorting myself and the car to reach the outlet! I can park wherever I want now. Plus, it's weatherproof IP66, so I don't have to worry about leaving it out in the rain (though I'd probably draw the line at charging during a thunderstorm!). The 3-year warranty and great support are awesome. The feeling gives me the same peace of mind you get with a public charging station. Honestly, the difference in quality between this and, say, the Tesla mobile connector is night and day. Both the male and female NACS connectors are super robust and well-made, just like the cord itself. If you charge your Tesla outside, this extension cord is a must-have.

Overall, this extension cable works great and does exactly what I need it to. It charges reliably and the build quality feels solid. The only downside is that the button on the connector doesn’t function properly—it doesn’t release the connector from the charge port and causes a charge fault. I have to use the Tesla app to unlock and remove it. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of.

Cable is thicker than one coming out of a Tesla wall charger, but it fits perfectly and allows me to extend the reachable distance.

Seems to work well get full speed charging 40amps but at first did not as the top light on my wall charger was flashing red ( it had reduced to 20 amps) this was due to the plug not being pushed all the way in so be sure to check that m. I think it came loose when it was dropping on the ground (softly) great to charge my old model Y now that wifey has the new one in the garage.

That is fair and square of those business Level 2 chargers at retail plazas. Simply check out at the examination between the augmentation and the Tesla Gen 2 versatile charger. The male and female NACS closes are made like the power line, uncompromising. This is ideal for use in the event that you want to charge your Tesla beyond your carport, or somewhere a separation from the charger. This is really ideal for the Tesla Superchargers as they are currently open to none Tesla. I've been including it for a portion of a month as of now, and it has made charging such significantly more direct. No more messed up halting draws to move closer to the power source haha. This connection offers me the chance to stop where it's useful. I can now charge my EV from a distance without worrying about the connection's display.

Oh man, this NACS extension cord is built to last an eternity! Wiring is 8 ga. That is on the level of those commercial Level 2 chargers at shopping centers. Just look at the comparison between the extension and the Tesla Gen 2 mobile charger. The male and female NACS ends are made like the power cord, heavy duty. This is perfect for use if you need to charge your Tesla outside of your garage, or someplace a distance from the charger. This is actually perfect for the Tesla Superchargers as they are now open to non-Teslas. With a Tesla, we just back in and the cord is the perfect length. With other EVs, their charging port is in a different location, so they tend to block a charging space. This will also work for those EVs, so they can back in and charge without blocking a charging space.
