This is the first one I bought and if all of them on the market is this good then I got the lucky pick. The jaws are much stronger than I thought I figured they would have chipped by now but it's holding up great. Everything is still 100% solid.

Currently using these around the house and keeping them in my smaller tool bag that I keep in the shed. The grip is decent and the weight is heavy on these. Feels good in the hand to me. I'm able to get enough leverage for cutting smaller gauge wire or nails. Would need to definitely use some "help" on the handle ends to cut through anything bigger.Worked to nip some pin nails on some rough projects around the house pretty quickly. Didn't cut them exactly flush, but did a good job of cutting. Was also able to pull pin nails and bigger old nails from boards. I've got on old fence in the back yard that I've been fixing and replacing old nails with screws. This worked for knocking the board, exposing the head of the nail, and ripping it right out. It's able to roll out a nail or grab and work it out a bit at a time. I was also able to pull out some staples without problem. So far, so good. It seems to be of decent quality and doesn't show any significant wear. These kinds of tools are really nice to keep in a tool bag because of the different applications. These aren't high-end, by any means, but are a decent budget option ($8.99 at time of order) if you are looking to throw this tool in your shed or a spare tool bag.

I live in an old, beat up, home and there was this weird metal strip flapping off the threshold of the front door. It was all bent up and looked like a tripping hazard, but the screws holding it in were rusted to bits and they were held in by nuts on the other side so it was not possible to unscrew them.I used this to chew off those screws from the front, since I couldn't get access to the back and it worked. It still wasn't easy and it took a good deal of force to close those jaws and decapitate that 1/16" thick screw, but I did. Afterward, I checked the tool for a dented edge and it still looks to be in perfect shape. I won't need these often, but it's nice to know that if I need them I will be able to use them more than once or twice before they dent or get dull.

This is the first time owning this type of cutting pliers and I have to say Im glad I added it to my bag. This one moves freely and smoothly, no spring action or anything like that. It has the same look and feel of knipex but at a better price. This one is obviously of high quality and make.
