Decent design but product is shades darker than depicted on Amazon. Unlike depicted item my top is made from 3 glued pieces. The top has a glue joint imperfection. The top's connection to the base does not seem solid.I purchased this salt cellar to replace one even more off than depicted but better made at 1/2 the price.

Nambe is normally well made and beautiful. This salt cellar is attractive but, in my opinion, not well made and not worth the price. It is larger than the photos represent and the lid is loose.

I keep this salt cellar on a tray on my kitchen island, along with a matching pepper grinder. The wood is beautiful, and the salt cellar protects the salt from humidity. The swing top is easy to use highly recommend.

Looks like koa wood, nice sheen to it. Easy to adjust how tight you want the lid on.

This is a beautiful saltbox. My last one was made of bamboo and eventually split. The body of one is all one piece and looks very sturdy. The lid swivels correctly with no sticking. I am happy with it and expect it to last a long time.
