Nice and solid. I used this to show customers samples of stone for countertops and is very heavy duty.

This gun case is solid. It's 30" x 16" x 7" and is completely water and crushproof. Top of the case has eggshell foam and the bottom has three layers (2 thick, 1 thin) of foam to protect your valuables. All of the foam is removable and the squares can be rearranged or removed to suit your needs. The case by itself is lightweight and easy to carry. The lid has four different locks on it that have spots for locks to secure them. Packaged and shipped in a branded, brown cardboard box. There was nothing inside to insulate from damage other than the plastic bag that encased it. Luckily, it did not incur any damage in transit to me. Overall, great gear case...priced a bit high, but solid none the less.

I have several firearm cases ranging from $60-$400 and I can honestly say that this deserves all 5 stars. Overall design is great. The seals are as tight as can be. Is properly built for pressurization in an airplane Weight is good, not too heavy nor too light. The clamps work very well and I could not crack the case no matter how hard I tried. It took countless hits from a sledgehammer for torture testing. Barely scratched when dragged on dirt road. No water or dust got inside during entire torture testing. In my personal opinion the styrofoam provided is up to par. Pre-cut 1/4”X1/4” chunks. They are dense, more dense than most firearm case foam but I’m sure that some people would prefer a denser foam. I am not one of those people but I have friends who just like denser foam and other friends who think this foam in this case is actually too dense. I think it’s just right for storing multiple firearms like 2 AR Pistols or 6-8 handguns. The bottom has 2 thick layers of precut foam, essentially 2 levels for storage.I do have one small complaint. The foam set in the top of the case is not a super tight fit and the corners bow down a little when you open it up. That piece of foam is only held to the top of the case with a single dot of glue in the center. This is ok for some people but others like myself will want to permanently attach the corners to the top of the case.

This is the perfect rifle case. Plenty of room for an SBR, if you break it down in half, or a SMG of some sort. You can customize the insert or just take one layer out and drop in whatever it is that you need to carry. The case is air tight. Lockable as well. Perfect for flying with your firearm if need be.

I ordered this to take multiple target pistols to the range and it's great for that. I have too many pistols for a range bag and I prefer hard cases to better protect the optics on them. This case is very rugged (probably an overkill for me), very tough and well designed. It works perfectly for my use.Highlights:* Secure latches. You must push the thumb slide before it will open (so it won't accidentally open if caught on something).* Tough case. The thick case is very tough and the plastic mold quality is great. I work occasionally with injection plastics and you can tell they used a high-quality mold.* A spring returns the padded handle to its down position, so it won't get in the way or catch on something.* Made by our friends in Canada.* Two holes for padlocks (or TSA locks) that are metal reinforced. I probably won't travel on an airplane with it but it's certainly rugged enough and the locks will be required then. I may use the locks when shooting in the country when kids may be around.* A rubber gasket around the edge keeps out moisture, dirt, etc.* Lifetime warranty (another sign of a quality product)Th only possible downside that I can imagine is the weight. Due to its strength and rugged build, it is a bit heavy. It doesn't bother me but if you're trying to pack light or have a disability, it could be an issue. I measured the empty weight at 12.3 pounds (5.6kg). A bit heavy compared to a soft bag but this offers so much more protection. Worth the extra weight for me.Note that I have a selection of similar cases that were a LOT less expensive, but this one is built to a much higher level of ruggedness, features and quality. I will update this review if something happens after it gets banged up a little. Otherwise, this is a great high-quality case and I'm very happy with it so far. If you can afford it, this case won't let you down.

I have lots of camera gear that needs protection when transporting. Whether it's short trips in the car, or if I am traveling, I need solid protection for these pricy investments. This is a good case. When I first opened it, I was surprised- it didn't look as deep as my other cases I use for my camera bodies- but it is. It's just wider than all of my other cases. It has 4 uniquely designed latches- which do require a little getting used to, but this ensures they do not open unintentionally. At least one other reviewer did not like these latches- but I believe this is a matter of personal preference. The foam is pretty standard- and is exactly the same foam that I find in both my Pelican ($$$) and off-brand Apache cases which sell for much less. I like the size of this case- as it gives me more space to store extra lenses or other gear.Question is- is it worth the $240 price tag? That's why I dropped a star from the review. This is a pricy case- firmly in the price range of Pelican, but way more than the off-brand Apache cases available at a certain discount retailer. I own both, and find nothing wrong with either. This Nanuk is every bit as good as these- but not sure if the larger case is worth the premium price. Very impressed with the design and construction. Also- their warranty is not listed here on Amazon- and you have to go to their official site to get warranty info. While it is pretty standard to warranty the case, they assume zero liability if your gear inside is damaged due to a warranty issue.

The foam is super weak and cheap, same kind I got in my $30 case. The latches are a terrible design. You pinch your finger everytime you open it and you need to engage the latch just to close them. 1/5 really poor design way overpriced
