I’m a beginner violinist, and this was recommended by my teacher. It has been very helpful to me in getting more comfortable in holding the violin for longer periods.

I've used two Shoulder Rest before this one and they both tend to fall off and they're too short, so this one is good. If you can make it a little wider neat the cheek rest it'll hold up better.

Look: if you need a shoulder rest with a large arc, this will do the trick, but so will just about any other shoulder rest with a large arc. This shoulder rest, at the time of my purchase, cost $57.98 plus any applicable taxes and fees. When you include the tax, I paid over $60.00 ($62.04, to be exact)!I thought the price may be worth it if the shoulder rest was really good, but it was just average. Frankly, it was below average. The rubber bit was peeling from the plastic bit and the legs were quite loose. The entire shoulder rest could've also been tighter when hanging onto my violin.Again, the shoulder rest works, but for over $60.00 I would have expected a lot more.

Great shoulder rest for me since I have a long neck and regular ones do not work well for me. I would have appreciated if it were more flexible, I can rotate the feet just a little bit, so, sometimes it is hard to get a perfect fit. However, this is not an impediment for this to work well.

I bought a second (identical) one so I wouldn't have to swap the rest between violins.

What’s funny, is that originally I thought I was purchasing a Bonmusica! I assumed NANYI was a Bonmusica-brand model. I will say, this is the most comfortable shoulder rest I have ever played with. I’ve been using a generic version of the Mach One Hook for the past four years, and although it started off a great option, as my playing changed, it started becoming less and less useful. The padding on this one is excellent for Male concert violinists, as it doesn’t slide off the shoulder/suit like the Mach One would- in addition to being supremely comfortable. The feet are also attached to rotational sliders, providing for the biggest amount of customizability I’ve ever experienced with any shoulder rest. I am in love with my new shoulder rest and all the comfort it’s brought to my playing. 11/10 recommended!

Just a bad copy of bonmusica. They don’t have creativity or understanding, just look at shape and copy it with zero skill or understanding its functions. It does not fit human anatomy. I see it is almost 5 star. How is that? What is Amozon is doing?
