The bed is mostly great. Some of the prefilled holes are not straight and led to cracked boards. The side of the slide was made wrong and the vendor is saying they are unable to process a replacement piece even though they had me go through the process and forms to receive a replacement. They offered a small credit which is not enough to replace the slide. I would recommend checking all of the pieces for accuracy before beginning your assembly so that you can return the entire unit of there is an issue.Spent extra to give my child the slide bed for their bday and now there will be no way to assemble the slide portion.Very disappointed in this vendor.

Why should a 5 year old settle for a normal bed when they can have a bed with a slide? Welp, mine loves this thing and we made his room “cool”, so that already a win.The assembly was pretty straightforward, directions were easy to follow and it didn’t take too long. I also was able to do this by myself without any help so that was nice.You need to have enough space for this, my 3 year olds room would not be big enough so make sure you take measurements, don’t want a kid sliding into a wall or anything.The position of the slide can be modified (which I did) to fit the room, so there’s a little bit of planning involved that’s well worth it.The bed is sturdy, not too high off the ground but enough room for my kids to store toys underneath. I would imagine the slide may disappear one day and underneath will change online setup or something but I could see us with this bed for quite a while. Definitely feels sturdy enough for a teen.If you’re looking for a bed for a little one, this is great and you’ll be cool again. Ha.

We bought this bed for our three year old son. Obviously, sturdiness was going to be important, and this bed did not disappoint. The quality of the wood/ materials, is very nice/ solid. The stain on the wood is very pretty. The height is not “scary” from a parent perspective, especially the parent my of a boy!I’m very impressed, and highly recommend.

I was nervous about this purchase after seeing some reviews but I was able to put this together in 2-3 hours and the bed itself is cute and my 5 year old son loves it. Seems sturdy enough, I had to climb on it to put up the blinds (didn’t consider this before putting the bed together) and I (225lbs) did not fall through the bed nor destroy the ladder so I’d call that a success!

The frame was easy to put together and I did it along in about an hour. I like the versatility of the layout which is why I chose this over others. The chalk board ended up being a chalky mess everywhere (should have foreseen that one). The slide has already broke and its only been a month. The screws that are supposed to hold the slide are not long enough, they popped out and I replaced with longer screws. Even with pre drilling out the holes the slide has cracked. I knew with the price it wasn’t going to be the greatest quality but I did hope it was going to last longer. I regret buying this.

I purchased this bed for my 7 year old daughter for our new apartment and she absolutely LOVES it! It was a surprise she didn’t know she was getting and I wanted to have it all assembled and ready to go by the time she came back from her vacation with her dad. My boyfriend and I assembled it in under 2 hours! It can get confusing sometimes because you’re able to assemble it in so many different configurations based on how you need the layout to be in your room, but it’s nothing we couldn’t figure out. The sturdiness is awesome (my daughter isn’t exactly the most petite 7 year old and it holds up great!) and she loves the slide! I’ve always had a hard time getting my daughter to sleep in her bed at night (especially since we moved into a new apartment), but she has slept in her own room and in her own bed about 95% of the time since we’ve gotten it! It’s literally a miracle worker! Lol would most definitely recommend.

If you thought IKEA instructions were bad these are on a whole different level. They may as well have written these in Chinese. Difficult to understand. No clear instructions on anything. Had to wing it to put it together.Not enough hardware for the “chalk” board. Left that off cause what hardware was left was going through and through the board. And not enough to put it up where it was supposed to go.One of the slide rails brackets didn’t fully secure into the rail. Almost like the hole was to much bored out.I feel like this bed will fail at some point. Going to be reaching out to the company for replacement pieces or I will just return fully to Amazon. Not worth the purchase.Tl;Dr stop being cheap. Buy a quality bed and bite the bullet. It’ll save you the frustration and headache, and you’ll feel safe about your child climbing all over it.

My daughters slide broke within 8-9 days after we assembled it. And it was not simple to assemble some screws didn't fit well and then got stuck and stripped when we tried to remove it... So part of hwr bed just isnt put together. I paid for a warranty that i never received as well.
