The blade is made from Chrome Vandium Cr-V steel and heat treated to 61 HRc. Blade tip is sharpened and ready to use. Epoxy blade in place for a secure fit. Brass ferrule is OD 0.471 inch and ID 0.0435 inch and 0.361 inch long. Ferrule is a proper ferrule with inside bevels and annealed so will not split with wood movement. Blade diameter: 6mm (0.23 inch) Blade length: 135mm (5.25 inch)
