Your cart is empty.These chisels are made by a small tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with all edge tool, they will need sharpening before use. These chisels are an excellent value in a good quality tool. This set of right and left skew chisels are designed to cut cleanly and easily when trimming tenon shoulders and dovetails, when getting into corners and when dressing end grain. Blades are ground to a 30 degree skew angle and have a 25 degree bevel. Blades are 13/16” or 20 mm wide by 4 ¾” long. Handles are stained Hornbeam, are 5 1/4” long, 1 1/4” in diameter and have a brass ferrule. Overall length is 10 ”. They come with an edge protector, but no retail packaging.

I have other Narex chisels and have been happy with all of them. Fair price decent quality, good those of us who want a good product for a reasonable price.

The Narex brand is found on very high-quality chisels, and these skew-edge paring tools are no exception. Priced like big-box tools, but exceptional quality. Flattening and polishing the backs was a breeze since they were basically flat out of the box.

As with all Narex chisels, these are great when you need to get into odd places. Narex products are top notch right out of the box. Very little lapping or honing needed before use. They hold an edge really well, too

WEll made fitted on my hand great chisel......It fulfilled my expectation, very sharp and easy to use.,Very carefully crafted and there are lots of detail that has been applied to this tool.,I Love it...!!!!!

The Narex brand of chisels seems to sharpen well. You will need to do some work on them when they arrive, but they seem to be a good chisel considering the price.

These are very nice chisels typical of Narex quality. The handles are finished nicely and feel smooth in the hand but provide good traction for paring. The blades come from the factory plenty sharp but of course a little honing with a micro-bevel is always a welcomed improvement.
