This is a very poorly made piece of hardware.The cheaply cast middle section has threading that is very badly done and takes very little tension to cross thread or strip out. About the only thing this would be good for is using it as a fishing weight.

Unfortunately these are much weaker than expected. The bore is so loose that they are not solid even when all the way threaded in. (Threads barely exist) looks like the hole was made too large which gave no material left for the thread.) Recommend only decorative use.
