Purchase in late May 2017.When I buy targets, I figure I am essentially buying circles on paper. As long as the circles are the right size, I am happy.Perhaps the reviews about flimsy paper have caused a product change, but the folks who complain about this are not describing the product I reviewed. While not cardstock, it is stiffer than regular paper. Wit wadcutters, the holes tend to be ragged. With pointed pellets they are very well defined.

The paper is different. The target tears so it is time consuming to get the score. It has to be removed from the cardboard backing and the torn pieces put back together to determine where the pellet hit. Previous targets seemed to have more fibers in them and pellet left a distinct whole for easy scoring.

Cheap paper. Holes tear. OK for practice. Pay extra for the premium targets from Kruger, etc., especially for formal matches.
