Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. The Dual Color LED bulbs can alternate between white and multicolor lights and includes a switch to control ten different light functions, allowing the bulbs to twinkle, flash or fade on either color setting. Paid $300 for this pre-lit tree and it was missing a connector so the bottom middle half of the tree would not light up.The lights are controlled by a foot switch that you have to click each time to cycle through the possible colors. I have a cheap no-name brand tree that is 9' tall I bought last year. Has a remote that allows you to select the colors. That tree was the same price but is 2 feet taller.Trying to find the connectors to hook up this tree is like finding Waldo. My cheap no-name brand tree had red ribbons tied on the connectors. This one had nothing.It doesn't even come with instructions except for a piece of paper with a QR tag to read with your phone that takes you to the National Trash Company web site and all their sales but no instruction manual. So you have to go hunting for that on their website and wade through all their other tree they try to sell you.My advice...if you want a top of the line tree buy Balsam Hill. Don't waste your money on National Tree Company. You can get a no-name brand for the same or less and it will be better.
