This nativity ornament is definitely ideal for the mantle piece or even under the Christmas tree or window sill or any display area, however, the craftsmanship of some parts (battery compartment and lights) seem rather flimsy, for example, the seal of the battery compartment is secured by sellotape which should have been molded into something that could clip into the compartment like that of a TV remote control; the fact that sellotape was used to close the battery compartment and hold the battery inside the slot, made the lights shine very dimly because they weren't secured well by the cover. Still, it served it's purpose.

The item is sturdy enough and feels like a good quality, however, the lights are not placed well and the are on the front on one side of the manger and on the back on the other side. It is too bad they didn't pay more attention when they were adding the lights.
