Your cart is empty.The NatraCure Universal Shoulder Gel Pack Replacement (1 Unit) is designed fit the NatraCure Hot/Cold & Compression Shoulder Support so you always have a gel pack at the ready for your recovery needs. Directions for Use: Cold Therapy: Store for a minimum of 1 hour in a freezer or 2-3 hours in a refrigerator. May use an ice cooler if you place the removable gel pack within a plastic bag to keep it dry. Ideal to lay the removable gel pack flat while cooling, but will work folded in half as well. It may be left in the freezer indefinitely until ready to use. Heat Therapy: Before heating, gel pack must be at room temperature. Place laying flat in the Microwave w/ black hook (rough) side down on a paper towel. Heat for 15 sec. then flip over and heat for another 15 sec. Use caution as the gel pack may be hot. After heating wait 1 minute before applying to the shoulder. The product should feel WARM to the touch, NOT HOT. If the product is not warm enough heat in 10 sec. intervals while flipping the product. Be wary of uneven heating, "HOT SPOTS" caused by the microwaves. Before applying massage the gel pack to evenly distribute the heated gel inside. Time is based on a 1300 WATT microwave. Due to DIFFERENCES in microwave powers heating times may vary, please use caution when heating and adjust time accordingly. DO NOT OVERHEAT. CAUTION: Consult your physician before using this product. Only use this product for 20 minutes at a time on the affected area. Do not use the removable gel product over open wounds and sensitive skin. Do not use heated removable gel pack on parts of body where there is swelling, redness or immediately after injury. Cold therapy is recommended for these conditions. If removable gel pack has been torn, overheated or has been compromised (and is leaking) discard immediately. Keep out of reach of children and pets. CAUTION PLACE A FABRIC INTERFACE BETWEEN THE GEL PACK AND THE SKIN PRIOR TO USING HOT OR COLD THERAPY.

We have no complaints. We needed it following shoulder surgery. It was very helpful when dealing with pain. Also used them for months following physical therapy. It looks just like it did when we received it. We are so pleased with this product.

Works fabulous with the shoulder harness it's designed for. The soft liquid freeze has it's advantages; especially right after rotator cuff surgery. It melts quicker than the liquid hard freeze types. You should get 2 or 3 extra if you're getting it right after surgery. You'll love it for real....

Perfect fit for shoulder. I use some kneepads in my shoulder ice pack holder which do stay colder longer.I need 4 or 5 of these packs to continuously ice throughout the day. The packs last about 15 minutes maximum.Coldness rating: 7/10. (10 being coldest). (Not super cold compared to other packs. But worth the money and fit).These packs need about 4 to 4 and a 1/2 hours to adequately cool off In my freezer.In about 2 hours they get to a coldness of 4.5 out of 10. But only last for 10 minutes and only cool the skin, not a deep freeze.I an an athlete, and do not want to take pain medication, so I look for the deep freeze. You have to be on top of switching these packs out, every 15 minutes for a deep freeze.In my cycle of ice packs, they take the longest to freeze, and last the shortest amount of time. If you have a good freezer you can get 2-3 real uses per day.If you have packs that freeze quicker, or stay cold longer, I would use those and rotate them in with these for new ice and shorter acting slightly warmer ice to prevent frostbite.When coupled with the shoulder Velcro harness, this pack is very gentle even for the day of surgery in the days after surgery.Even though the pack doesn't get extra cold, when it is at a medium coldness it is less firm and conforms to your shoulder more easily, And is very gentle on your shoulder.

If you are buying the original shoulder icer then you need this. They freeze quickly and last for quite a while but if you want constant icing you need a 2nd one. They are very well made. Appear durable and worked well. Can be folded to fit into freezer and will still freeze up nicely. My son's bicep was too large for the bicep strap but still able to hold ice pack in place

Wonderful, versatile product for treating shoulder pain. Applies cold and heat evenly. Wide-strap sling is comfortable and easy to adjust. Get the extra insert - makes multiple hot/cold applications easier. Worth every single penny.

Ice pack fits well and provided good pain relief. Easy to put on and remove. Well made. An unanticipated benefit is the mobility this provides. Can be worn while being away from home so handy to take to work, wear while shopping, etc. so this product is a nice complement to ice machines.

This product gave me enough support to stabilize the shoulder during pain flare up, I apply the cold pack n alternate.Easy to adjust with one hand.
