Flat round piece of goatskin without hair. Thickness: Medium- approximately 0.015 of an inch. This equates to the approximate thickness of 4-5 sheets of printer paper.
All skins sold "AS IS". We do our best to eliminate skins that have possible defects; however, our prices are based on an "as is" basis. This means, on average, you can expect to lose one out of ten skins. Obviously the tightness during installation will alter this ratio, so figure this loss in your cost.

Will be using this 12 inch skin for a Gourd Ukulele build. Beautiful skin, very clean, no flaws, nicely figured...which I prefer to a mono colored or bleached skin. I'll definitely be ordering more skins from this Seller.

The quality of the goat skin was very good. The size selected was accurate and it worked great for my project. I was able to fix a toy drum that my daughter got for Christmas, it actually sounds better than what it was supposed to. Now that I know the quality of this product, I can try to do other crafts in the future.
