My intended use for this reed fencing was for a set prop for a movie, and it didn't disappoint. Love how it interacted with set lighting. It has withstood regular handling and use.Excellent material, and like that it could be cut to the right size.Great value for the money, durable, and attractive.

The reeds arrived in an appropriate sized package. This is always an import thing to be to help reduce cardboard waste.The reeds are all nicely uniform in size, not like plastic, but the variation is just enough to give it that lovely aesthetic that comes from using a real plants.The cotton string is sturdy, thicker than I anticipated and this lets me know the fencing will last through many seasons. It also comes with a package of black quick-ties that will let you hook it to any fencing or posts you may want.My original intent with the reeds was to cover an area of chainlink fencing along a neighbors yard. The reeds are sturdy and have no problem standing steady (ie no bending in the wind). Now that I have a feel for how strong the reeds are I have changed how I am going to use the fencing and will be using it to mark out my herb garden and will be attaching it to several posts with a small area left loose as a gate segment that can be tied.I think you can be quite creative with how you use this fencing.

I bought this to hide my outdoor AC unit. It is very nice and comes with lots of thin black zip ties to secure it. I did make one mistake though, I cut the length I needed and immediately the screen came apart at the cut and individual bamboo reeds started to fall off because it is held together with continuous twine across the width in several places . Fortunately there's plenty so I'm going to use a strong glue on the twine on either side of the cut so it won't unravel when I recut the section I need.

I put this up on the inside fence of my patio and it looks great and provides plenty of privacy. I assumed from the seller's description this would be a lot more durable than it really is. If you have young children or pets, this would easily get torn up. It stands up to bad weather well and serves it purpose. I think the zip ties should either be clear or at least close to the color of the product, but they are thick and black and not as easy as they make you believe in the description to attach to your fence especially if you are trying to put it flush with the ground. I'd suggest having another person on the other side to push the zip ties back through our you'll end up with a lot of broken sections.

I'm not that worried about privacy -- I like my neighbors OK -- but I wanted something to put along the border fence to stop my shrubs and sunflowers from poking into this yard. Another screen I tried looked too fake, and I'm happy to say this reed fence looks much nicer as a backdrop! It also does the job, keeping my flora on my side of the fence.My only qualm is how much it sags between the ties that hold it in place. You need a LOT of ties to keep it even semi-straight along the top, so if you're worried about a nice level fence line, this might not be your best bet.

Installed on my apartment patio for added privacy and to keep my small dog contained. Looks great!! Easy to install with staple gun or included zip ties. Highly recommend!!

Looks good but it’s slightly brittle when taking out from the box and installing. Will give it some time and see how it goes.
