I'm using this in my baby iguanas terrarium and it's excellent to keep those sharp little claws down. It's got good grip for him too so when he's running from me when I try to get him out for some taming time, it does its job.

I have attached heat pad under this rock slab and providing my tortoise a hot spot at night and it works fine. The slab conducted the heat well and I can feel the warm with my hand.It's not big and I think the max size is for a tortoise about 1~1.5 hand big. The slab is about 2.5 times hand size. I believe my tortoise still can use for about 1~2 years.Another great function for this is the rough surface of it. I believe my tortoise can use it sanding his beak if he wants.One thing need to be careful is the slab is not very strong, it's really not as hard as rock. The first shipment came with a broken one due to the poor package but they send me a replacement one very quick. Please be gentle when handling it.
